THE SALARIES OF THE EMPLOYEES OF SSU WERE INCREASED
Another successful step was taken in the direction of strengthening the social protection of Sumgayit State University employees. Salaries of the employees of the university were increased.
Social reforms carried out in our country serve to increase the welfare of citizens. Ensuring the well-being and satisfaction of the population, raising the standard of living, increasing attention and care for vulnerable groups constitute the main line of the successful socio-economic policy of President Ilham Aliyev. The important steps taken, especially the successive social reforms carried out in recent years, these have created conditions for achieving important successes in this direction, expanding social protection and active employment programs year after year.
In modern times, human capital determines the level and pace of development of both individual enterprises and society as a whole. That is why the development of human capital has already become a priority issue for most countries of the world, including Azerbaijan. In our country, very important measures are being taken in the direction of sustainable development of human capital.
On the instructions of president Ilham Aliyev, successful steps have been taken to improve the social welfare of the population in the state budget of 2022. At Sumgayit State University, following the political course of the Azerbaijan state, improvement of the financial well-being of employees and further strengthening of social protection is always kept in mind. This stimulates the work of teachers and employees and creates motivation to develop their activities.
We should note that salaries at Sumgayit State University have been regularly increased in recent years.
