THE ANNIVERSARIES OF SUMGAYIT STATE UNIVERSITY EMPLOYEES WERE CELEBRATED
On October 3, at the Sumgayit State University (SSU), the anniversary of several teachers and employees was celebrated by the Trade Union Committee (TUC) at the initiative of the management. Associate professor Shikar Huseynov of the department of Pedagogy and psychology and laboratory assistant of the department of Petrochemistry and chemical engineering Dilbar Mirzayeva were congratulated by the management on the occasion of their 65th anniversary.
Associate professor Elmar Khalilov, vice rector for Social issues and Public relations of SSU, congratulated the anniversaries on behalf of rector Rufat Azizov and conveyed his sincere wishes. The vice-rector said that they have performed effective and dedicated pedagogical activities in the university for many years, and said that each of these employees is very valuable and dear to both the collective and the students. Elmar Khalilov stressed that the university management always values its employees and teachers, and said that such ceremonies are traditionally held.
Then, the chairman of the Trade Union Committee, associate professor Nemat Ibayev, presented honorary diplomas and gifts to the jubilarians for their effective activities and on the occasion of their 65th anniversary.
Expressing their gratitude for the attention shown, SSU employees said that they are proud to work for Azerbaijani education.
