A round table dedicated to the National Revival Day was organized on November 17 with the joint organization of the Student Youth Organization of Sumgayit State University and the "Dostlug" cultural house of the Nariman Narimanov Cultural Center.
First, the National Anthem of the Republic of Azerbaijan was played. Jahangir Maharramov, Methodist of the House of Culture, spoke about the essence of the historical day at the event. He noted that this significant day, which is one of the main stages of the freedom struggle of our people, played a historical role in the restoration of Azerbaijan's independence. On November 17, 1988, the people of Azerbaijan raised their voice for freedom and stood up against the Soviet empire, which was a turning point on the way to its revival. Since 1992, November 17 is celebrated as National Revival Day.
The event continued in the form of a discussion and at the end a commemorative photo was taken.
