On November 17, the III Republican scientific conference was held on the topic of "Urgent issues of personnel training"Sumgayit State University, Azerbaijan Scientific-Research and Project-Research Energy Institute of Azerenergy OJSC, Education and Innovation Center of Azerishiq OJSC jointly organized "Energy Specializations" dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the birth of National Leader Heydar Aliyev in Hadrut settlement of Khojavend region.

The rector spoke about the Great Leader's services in the development of our country and the independent electricity system that Azerbaijan has today is connected with the name of National Leader Heydar Aliyev. He said that it is a matter of pride that organizing institutions, including specialists of Sumgayit State University, will contribute to the issue, which is the main component of the reconstruction policy to be carried out in the territories freed from occupation. He pointed out that the discussions at the conference put new tasks in front of our university in this direction by bringing up the actual issues of personnel training in energy specialties. I believe that the current students of SSU who participated in the conference, the majority of our future graduates will be able to make their contribution within the framework of the Great Return by establishing their careers in the territories freed from today's occupation.

The following speakers made a speech on the different topics: associate professor Tamella Ahmadova, dean of the faculty of Physics and electroenergetics of Sumgayit State University, "On the application of scientific-research works to the educational process; solid-core electromagnetic transmitters", Azerenerji OJSC, leading researcher of the Energy System Reliability and Overvoltage Protection Department of the Azerbaijan Scientific-Research and Project-Research Energy Institute Valeh Nasibov on "Creating a "Green Energy" zone in territories freed from occupation", Farid Zaliyev, head of the department of Technological innovations of the Education and Innovation Center of Azerishik OJSC on "Application of innovative technologies in the distribution network - Azerishik experience", head of the department of the Green Energy of the Education and Innovation Center of Azerishiq OJSC  Ayshan Hamidova on  "Renewable energy sources and the active consumer", Nadir Abdullayev, head of the laboratory of transport properties on "New materials for energy - load transport mechanism in new magnetic topological insulators".

The conference continued its work in sections.
