The vice rector on science and innovation of Sumgait State University Prof. Ramazan Mammadov opened the conference held in April 14 organized by Student Scientific Society (SSS) and spoke about the achievements and  measures, improving the quality of teaching in the university  and strengthening  its  material-technical base. He stated that students mastered  high academic skills as a result of the favorable conditions created for them  and such kind of scientific conferences would play an important role in their  future activity. Professor Ramazan Mammadov conveyed the greetings of the rector  of the university Professor Elkhan Huseynov, and wished success to the conference.
Scientific supervisor of SSS, Ph.D Islam Pashayev thanked the rector professor Elkhan Husseynov for the created  conditions  and  said that the students involved  in the conference had become a tradition and every year more and more students took part in it. Students took part in national and international-level scientific conferences  , seminars, subject Olympiads, competitions and participate in creative projects with their research and creative works .  Professor Islam Pashayev noted that 8 studens’ articles  from the Department of Physics and electro-energetics were  published in a foreign country. Conferences are held on a regular basis at the university with the aim of improving the quality of training of highly qualified specialists and with this in view students involved in the scientific activities of the university.
Scientific supervisor of SSS on the faculty of Physics and electro energetics Samir Orujov stressed the importance of conferences stimulating activity and scientific and creative skills of the students. Associate professor Samir Orujov evaluated the work of the chairs and faculty in this area. Our students got good results in the direction of representing our country abroad. He said that the rapid growth of scientific research in recent years had developed completely.
Then the students Tofig Adigozalov, Ulviya Mammadova and Firangiz Akhmedova spoke on various topics. The conference continued its work in sessions.
