International cooperation and strategic projects department of Sumgait State University carries out international cooperation activities within the framework of contracts and projects concluded with higher education institutions of foreign countries. At the same time, it oversees the completion of various projects on time, within budget and in accordance with the highest quality standards, independently, as well as with other higher education institutions, governmental and non-governmental organizations, local, international organizations and companies, in accordance with the strategic goals of the university. The department ensures efficient and effective project outcomes across the university by standardizing relevant processes, applying best practices, and strengthening communication and collaboration among stakeholders. The initiatives coordinated by the department include Sabah.Academy, Code Academy, SABAH Master"s programs, ERASMUS+ projects, and events implemented with ASOIU, UNEC, Khazar University and a number of other higher education institutions and organizations. The department also carries out activities aimed at ensuring the university"s participation in international rankings.
        The department is headed by Habiba Nazirova Mirhabib gizi. In 2017, she completed her bachelor"s degree in the SABAH groups of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan, majoring in "Teaching English" of the Azerbaijan University of Languages. In 2021, she graduated with honors from the master"s program in "Educational Management" of ADA University. Since 2015, she has been engaging in teaching English for general and specific purposes, including academic writing. Since 2021, she has been working as a specialist, senior specialist and head of the department in the Project management department in the Educational Institute of the Republic of Azerbaijan. She has managed educational projects on various priority topics with a number of local and international organizations such as the UN Children"s Fund, the UN Population Fund. She is also the author, co-author and reviewer of publications related to higher education, inclusive education, gender equality in education, teacher training and development.
