The next assembly of Scientific Council was held on May 31. At first before passing to diary the chairman of council, rector of university, professor E.B.Huseynov congratulated the teacher of Foreign languages department MammadovaSona and deputy of Chemistry and biology faculty’s dean NazarovaMushkinazon occasion of getting assistant professor diplom by Supreme Attestation Commission under the President of Azerbaijan Republic and wished them success in their future activity.Chairman, rector E.B.Hüseynov brought problems which got up daily to attention of the council members. Director of Methodical center of teaching IsabalGurbanov gave information about the results of colloquium and preparations of spring exams session, the vice rector on corresponding, distant and extra education department associate professor G.Atayevgave information about the spring exams session’s results of corresponding education and the plans of future measures. Prof. A.Agayev, head of the department of Oil Chemistry and chemical technology, prof. F.Alakberli, head of the Automatize of the processes department, prof. M.Zarbaliyev, head of Half Conductor Physics department and I.Gurbanov, director of Methodical center of teaching gave information about existing conditions of departments.
Prof. N.V.Isgandarov, director of foreign languages department and coordinator on TEMPUS UNIVIA noted that she had been to Santyago de Compostela Universty in Galisia in Ispain Kingdom on April 4-14. The main goal of official journeyis to get acquainted with the experience of international projects of Santyago de Compostela Universty, their sucesses in education and make connections.
Then, assosiate professor of Physics and electro energetics facuilty  S.Orujov shared impressions on visit to Finiks of Aizona state in USA in InteI ISEF–Intel İnternational Scientific and Engineering Exhibition with “Scientists of Future” the cconquerors of the V Republic Competition.
Azerbaijanian pupils signed historical sucsess in this exhibition.  Narmin Ajdarov and Arzu Mammedova were awarded Grand Award on the category of Physics and material sources. Another participants Nigar Sardarli and Madat Sardarli were awarded special award of Scientific affairs of Gatar.
Then, prof. A.Agayev, head of the department of Oil Chemistry and chemical technology, ass.prof M.Muradov, the dean of Chemical-Biology reported about their participation in VI International scientific practices conference devoted to “Practical aspects of oil-mine chemistry” in Ufa on May 24-27.
The deans of faculties reported on pereparations of spring exam session. Scientific Council was over with discussion of current issues.
