The goal of the project is not only to enlighten the youth but also to propagate the national and spiritual values.
The spectacle “Sarı Gəlin” has been displayed in the Hall of Azerbaijan National Dram Theater by the efforts of Ministry of Youth and Sports. Initially, the visitors get known of the exhibition displayed in the foyer named by “Journey to the history of Azerbaijan’s music”. During the spectacle the audience witnessed of presented video film concerning the history of so-called song “Sari gəlin”. The professor Mrs. G. Abdulazade (the vise-rector for scientific researches of National Music Academy after U.Hacibeyli) and the scientific chief of the project “Sarı Gəlin”, Mr. Y. Makhmudov (The director of the Institute of History, Honor Scientist and associate member of ANAS) presented their interviews concerning the history of the song by the video. Hereinafter the spectacle, composed by hundred fifty students and actors, was performed. The colorful decorations and scenario of high level designed spectacle brought about a big interest of the audience. It should be noted that the director of the spectacle is Mr. NijatKazinmov. The goal of the project is to enlighten the youth of Azerbaijan on national and cultural heritage and history, to propagate and preserve the local traditions. The spectacle had a successful ending. The dancing staff of SSU awarded with the certificates for the wonderful performance. It should be noted as well that The Ministry of Youth and Sports of Azerbaijan Republic expressed its thanks to the rector of SSU, to the professor Mr. ElkhanHuseynov for the rendered support on project’s arrangements and delivered a letter of gratitude accordingly.
