On December 26, open lesson in Russian language was held at Linguistic Center, dedicated to New Year holiday by the organization of Shafag Gasimova. The participants included chief of the Center Alik Abdullayev, employees: Gulnara Huseynova, Elnara Ahmadova, Ulviyya Hasanova,AyselEminova and the students of Russian language groups.

At first AlikAbdullayev congratulated associates of Linguistic Center and students on occasion of New Year and Solidarity Day of World Azerbaijanis, wished them health and success. ShafagGasimova introduced jury which is composed of employees of the Center; then the students introduced themselves in Russian. The lesson began with quiz, the students divided into two groups: “Star” and “Yolka”. The students did the exercises which were shown in smart board. Each team got the figure of star and yolka proper with their names by the decision of jury. At the next stage the teams did 3 different exercises, later they performed the song “Qoluboyvaqon” by V.Y.Shainski. The following students recited poems in Russian: SevinjAghabalayeva (group 318), LeylaShadlinskaya (group 493), AfatDadashova (group 497), ZiyafatBehbudova (group 497), ElnaraMehdizada (group 317), AytajMammadova (group 317), GultakinIsgandarova (group 595). The team “Yolka” was the winner by the decision of jury.

Afterwards, the students sang “Noviy qod” song. All participants got presents.
