On January 23, the conference was held on “Employment of youth: view of employees, challenges and perspectives” at Fairmont Hotel, Baku jointly organized by National Confederation of Entrepreneurs (Employers") Organizations of the Republic of Azerbaijan (AEC) and International Labor Organization (ILO).

The participants included: president of AEC Mammad Musayev, Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Defense of People Matin Karimli, chairman of Azerbaijani Confederation of Trade Unions Sattar Mohbaliyev, Deputy Education Minister Idris Isayev, resident coordinator of UNO in Azerbaijan Gulam Isagzai, executive director of Center for Economic Reforms’ Analysis and Communication Vusal Gasimli, head of Youth and Sports Committee of Milli Majlis of Azerbaijan Republic, member of parliament Ulvi Guliyev, rector of Azerbaijan State Economic University Adalat Muradov, chairwoman of Country Office for Eastern Europe and Central Asia of ILO Olga Kulayeva.

At the special session the presentation of Global report was held on “Future of labor”. It was presented by chairwoman of Country Office for Eastern Europe and Central Asia of ILO Olga Kulayeva and employee of the Office Mikhayil Pushkin. Afterwards presentations of international experts and specialists were held on current situation in employment of youth, challenges of modern period and future perspectives by the attendance of representatives of relevant state bodies, social partners, education institutions, international organizations and entrepreneurs. Later panel sessions carried out on education and abilities, entrepreneurship of youth and legislation.
