The winners of “What? Where? When?” intellectual game, futsal tournament and “Professional young person of the year” contest awarded on January 24, organized by Republican Committee of Azerbaijani Education Employees’ Free Trade Union among the students of higher education institutions.

Chairman of ATUC, Member of Parliament Sattar Mehbaliyev delivered speech in the event and said: “Professional young person of the year” competition was held by ATUC among young persons employed at education system by the decision of Executive Committee of Azerbaijan Trade Unions Committee”. Committee chairman emphasized that the participants of these competitions are young persons and our purpose is arranging leisure time of youth effectively, increasing their interest to science and education and promotion of healthy lifestyle. S.Mehbaliyev highlighted that raising level of professionalism of young persons, upbringing them as a worthy and educated citizen are among essential directions of state youth policy.

Afterwards the winners of 3 competitions awarded. Honorary diplomas and presents presented to the winners. The assistant of the Department of Mathematical Analysis and Functions Theory of SSU, PhD in mathematics Gunay Rzayeva was awarded with Honorary diploma at “Professional young person of the year” contest.
