The training held on inclusive education in Baku within the project “Improving inclusive education skills of teaching staff” by financial support of European Union and the organization of UNICEF and “Regional Development” Public Unity of Heydar Aliyev Foundation, which was held on February 4-8. The collaborators of higher education institutions, as well as Sumgayit State University took part in the trainings, jointly organized by Ministry of Education. The purpose of the training is to increase training skills of lecturers and encourage them to apply new education methods in inclusive education field. International experts conducted the training on the base of program, prepared within the project.

The participants from Sumgayit State University included: head of the Department of Pedagogy and Psychology docent Aytakin Mammadova, collaborators of the Department Sevar Mirzayeva, Sevinj Karimova, PhD in psychology senior lecturer Ayna Hajiyeva, chairwoman of International Cooperation Office PhD in history Samira Mammadova, head of Center for Students with disabilities senior lecturer Tarana Guliyeva and senior lecturer of the Department of Azerbaijani language and its teaching methods Aynura Baghirova.

At the end of the event, every participant awarded with certificate by experts.
