On February 20, information day entitled “Quality assurance in teaching and learning process” was held for the students of Sumgayit State University within ERASMUS+EQAC project. The event was run by the moderators: chief of international Cooperation Office PhD in history Samira Mammadova, employee of the Office Nihad Huseynov and senior lecturer of the Department of History and its teaching methods Sarvan Badalov.

The object of organizing the event was to inform the students about EQAC project and the activity of Quality Assurance Centre, which will be instituted, to share the experience gained in Sweden, Vilnius and London visits held within the project, to discuss further steps – surveys, monitoring and relevant measures and to learn students’ opinions. Samira Mammadova gave wide information about Middlesex University of United Kingdom, Nihad Huseynov about Sweden Royal Institute of Technology, Sarvan Badalov about Lithuania University of Social Applied Sciences for motivating students. Emphasizing significance of student interchange for expanding international relations of the University, the moderators recommended students to participate in the interchange within international projects.
