On May 7, the event entitled “Always in our hearts” was held at Engineering faculty dedicated to 96th anniversary of national leader Heydar Aliyev.

At first, Heydar Aliyev was commemorated with one minute silence.

Then dean of faculty docent Ulduz Aghayev launched the event with welcome speech and spoke about the role of Heydar Aliyev in Azerbaijani history. “The fate of the Azerbaijani state is tightly connected with the life of the national leader. Today, Azerbaijan is on the way of constant development which promises bright future to our country due to the wise policy and strategy that has been pursued by Heydar Aliyev. The great achievements gained in our country are the outcomes of his activity and determined political course. Heydar Aliyev was a politician born for great politics, who could express himself in solution of not only domestic, but also world-wide issues. His memory is always in our hearts”.

The students talked about life and activity of national leader Heydar Aliyev, his services in the statehood of Azerbaijan Republic and continuation of this policy by President Ilham Aliyev. They noted that his lifeway, devoted to Azerbaijan and the nation is a bright sample and educational school for youth.

In the end the video demonstrated, dedicated to glorious lifeway of great leader. The event went on with artistic composition performed by students.
