On June 27-29, International TURKCESS Education and Social Sciences Conference was held in Istanbul city of Turkey, hosted by Yildiz Technical University.

The conference was dedicated to advancement of theory and experience in the field of education and promoted excellent cooperation between scholars and specialists of various education fields.

Along with 24 countries, the conference also attended by several universities of Azerbaijan: Sumgayit State University, Baku State University, Azerbaijan Pedagogical University, Azerbaijan University, Institute for Education Problems, Khazar University, Azerbaijan Technical University, Baku Management Academy, Psychology Scientific-research Institute and Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences.

Sumgayit State University represented in the conference by dean of the Economics and Management faculty docent Aynura Yahyayeva, senior lecturer of Economics department PhD in economics Seadat Humbataliyeva, and docent of Pedagogy and psychology department Kamala Salamova. Aynura Yahyayeva delivered presentation on “Social investments and evaluation of their efficiency”, Seadat Humbataliyeva on “Evaluation of quality of education development in Azerbaijan”, Kamala Salamova on “Impact of moving away from national and spiritual values on education level of students” and “Influence of sexual differentiation on personal qualities of youth”. They were given certificates for their articles and speech.

Our lecturers visited Economics and management faculty of Yildiz Technical University within their visit and met faculty dean professor Kenan Aydin and professor Meral Uzunoz.

In addition, our representatives met the lecturers of other universities who participated in the conference and gave information about SSU. Representatives of International Vision University of North Macedonia expressed their special interest of Sumgayit State University.

Chief of Organizing Committee of conference professor M.Engin Deniz thanked to rector of SSU prof.Elkhan Huseynov for creating conditions to SSU lecturers to participate in the conference.
