In connection with the necessary measures taken related to the coronavirus epidemic in the country, classes in educational institutions of the republic were temporarily suspended. According to the decision and recommendations of the Ministry of Education, online and offline classes are organized at all faculties of Sumgayit State University, including the Faculty of Philology.

In the classes held online, teachers of the Department of Pedagogy and Psychology actively participate. Most full-time, part-time and graduate students are involved in the online classroom process. Lecture materials are available in the programs “Moodle.sdu.az”, “Microsoft Teams”. Classes with students continue through the “Zoom meeting online” and “Trueconf online” systems and Whatsapp groups. Students also participate in classes from the Microsoft Teams platform online. Until the end of quarantine, classes will be held in this order, and students positively perceive such an organization of training. They are happy to participate in classes and express their appreciation to the teachers. Along with studies, students spend their leisure time in an interesting way. In order to provide psychological support to all students, students of a psychological specialty to maintain the appeal "Stay at home, but do not stay away from education!" prepared a video under the motto “Communication doesn’t depend on distance”.
