A GROUP OF SSU STUDENTS VISITED THE OPEN-AIR MILITARY TROPHY PARK
On May 18, a group of students organized by the Student Trade Union Committee of Sumgayit State University visited the open-air Military Trophy Park and got acquainted with the military equipment looted during the 44-day Patriotic War.
Chairman of the Student Trade Union Committee Nemat Ibayev told the students that the Military Loot Park is of great importance. The younger generation, schoolchildren, students, tourists visiting our country will once again witness the defeat of Armenia and the victory of Azerbaijan. Currently, the Military Loot Park opened in Baku is in the spotlight of the world community.
Nemat Ibayev also said that the battles of April 2016, Operation Gunnut in 2018, the events of July and August 2020 once again confirmed that the Azerbaijani Army is ready to respond to the occupying Armenia with dignity. In September 2020, when the Armenian army again provoked the border areas and turned it into a war, this time it saw a strong and powerful Azerbaijani Army. Just as our heroic soldiers and officers captured the enemy for 44 days, the invaders threw their weapons and fled.
Then the students got acquainted with the military booty we got from the enemy, who suffered constant defeats on the battlefield in the Great Patriotic War - firearms, heavy equipment, missile systems, military vehicles and other ammunition and took photos.
It should be noted that some of the military equipment seized from the enemy during the Patriotic War in the Military Loot Park, more than 300 exhibits, including about 150 heavy equipment, tanks, combat vehicles, artillery, anti-aircraft missile systems, small arms. , military transport is exhibited.
