OUR EMPLOYEE PARTICIPATED IN THE TRAINING ON THE PROMOTION OF INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS
On July 14, the “Foreigners" Encouragement Trainings” were organized by the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan and hosted by Khazar University.
The main purpose of the event held by the Ministry of Education to increase the number of foreigners involved in higher education, was to instruct staff involved in the reception of foreigners in higher education institutions on the promotion of the involvement of foreigners and the organization of education.
The training, organized by the Education and Work with Foreign Students Sector, discussed the main criteria, marketing, ratings and educational exhibitions and portals for foreign students on the HEI website, and provided didactic information on the tools and skills to be used to achieve these results.
At the same time, in the second part of the training, representatives of each higher education institution were instructed to prepare marketing information.
The training also included instructions on how to prepare HEIs" action plans in these areas.
Representatives of Sumgayit State University, Azerbaijan State University of Economics, Baku Higher Oil School, Azerbaijan Technical University, Azerbaijan State Academy of Physical Culture and Sports, Baku State University, Baku Slavic University, Azerbaijan University of Architecture and Construction, Azerbaijan National Conservatory, Odlar Yurdu University took part in the event.
Sumgayit State University was represented at the training by Sadagat Fatullayeva, an employee of the Department of International Cooperation and Foreign Students.
