The last  subbotnik was held on the 12th of September by SSU`s staff. Departments, lecture halls, laboratories were cleaned within the framework of  subbotnik,  the yard of the University was put in order, trees and flower bushes were planted and the benches were colored.Repairs and reconstruction work has been continuing for a long time. So that white marbles have been planked to the lobby of the University, corridor and stairs have also been repaired at a high level. All the lecture halls have been supplied with technical equipment. Reparation of the library and acquisition with textbooks have been completed. A series of important works have also been done in the second corpus of our University. Projectors and electron boards were installed in all  lecturehalls. Besides of it, issues concerning teachers and students have been resolved positively.  Both students and teachers may access high-speed internet network in order to learn working with new technologies. Modernizing study laboratories have been completed.In addition, “Cancellation of Sumgait branch of Azerbaijan Teachers Institute, including material-technical base, with the teachers and students to Sumgait State University  “On improvement of education system in Azerbaijan Republic ” the Presidential Decree No.349 dated June13, 2000 “On Amendments to the Decree of the President of Azerbaijan Republic”, “National Strategy for the Development of Education in Azerbaijan Republic” have been implemented in accordance with execution of the Action Plan. Under the supervision of the administration of Sumgait State University serious work is being done in the direction of placing teaching staff and students  relevantly  to their specialization. Vice rector for Organizing of Education  and Teaching Technology , assoc. prof. NatigTalibov, made a presentation about the state of preparedness of academic year 2015- 2016, also about Sumgait branch of Azerbaijan Teachers Institute and distribution of teaching load . Vice rector for Humanitarian Affairs, assoc.prof. NizamiNamazov talked about the Knowledge Day, vice rector for Economic Affairs of SSU NaibHajiyev added information about strengthening the material- technical base and repair work carried out at the University, head of the Department of  Doctoral Studies and Master`s Degree, assoc. prof. RamizHuseynov  spoke about results of admission to Master`s Degree and Rector`s Advisor, assoc. prof  UlduzAgayevmentioned the efficient use of public funds.Being ready for Knowledge Day, each employee of Sumgait State Universityaims to raise the level of our education and to provide our state with competent staff.
