Dedicated to the 99th anniversary of national leader Heydar Aliyev, “What? Where? When?" popular intellectual game started  with the joint organization of the Student Trade Union Committee and the Student Youth Organization.

After a minute of silence in memory of national leader Heydar Aliyev, chairman of the Trade Union Committee of the University, associate professor Nemat Ibayev greeted the participants and spoke about the invaluable services of Heydar Aliyev  the founder of the independent Azerbaijani state. He said the national leader paid special attention to the development of science and education at all stages of public administration and mobilized all his resources for the sake of an educated society. Noting that national leader Heydar Aliyev always trusted  the youth, he noted that youth policy was a key component of state policy, which was successfully continued by President Ilham Aliyev.

Touching upon the importance of the intellectual game, Nemat Ibayev said that the competition will increase students' interest in various subjects, as well as demonstrate their level of preparation in those subjects, identify talented young people, help our youth grow, strengthen their sense of scientific motivation and future success. He expressed confidence that he would direct and wished success to the teams.

Then the competition started. 7 teams competed to win the championship consisting of 3 rounds. According to the results, the team of the faculty of History and geography was the first, the team of the faculty of Economics and Management was the second  and the team of the faculty of Philology was the third.
