Our students won the essay competition on "Heydar Aliyev and the economy of Azerbaijan"
A round table-the second part of the essay competition on "Heydar Aliyev and the economy of Azerbaijan" dedicated to the 99th anniversary of national leader Heydar Aliyev was held within the "Economics school" program of UNEC SSS and "GUYS" Public Union on May 10 at the Republican Youth Library named after Jafar Jabbarli.
Director of the Republican Youth Library named after Jafar Jabbarli Aslan Jafarov opened the event, stressed that the meaningful life, rich and diverse heritage of national leader Heydar Aliyev who gained immortality in the history of Azerbaijani statehood with his far-sighted and wise policy is an immeasurable legacy for the Azerbaijani people.
The floor was given to Mubariz Guliyev chairman of the GUYS Public Union. During his speech Mubariz Guliyev noted how the great leader Heydar Aliyev treated young people with care and attention since the time he led Azerbaijan since the 1960s.
Then the floor was given to other guests and young people. In the end, the participants of the essay competition made their presentations. Nubar Osmanova, a third-year student of the faculty of History and geography of Sumgayit State University was awarded the first place and Nurana Suleymanova a second-year student of the faculty of Philology was awarded the second place.
