A meeting on joint cooperation was held between Sumgayit State Technical College and Nakhchivan State Technical College
Employees of Sumgayit State Technical College under Sumgayit State University visited Nakhchivan State Technical College on May 13.
The purpose of the visit was to share experience on the STEAM education method, as well as to establish cooperation between educational institutions.
Along with the director of the college, associate professor Matanat Pirguliyeva, the deputy director for educational affairs Asad Gurbanov, the head of the department of "Motor transport and energy" Sevda Musayeva, the head of the department of ecology and computer Samiddin Gasimov and the teacher Hadiya Aliyeva took part in the delegation.
During the visit, the staff of Sumgayit State Technical College got acquainted with the STEAM booth created at the college and were provided with the necessary information about the educational method implemented here. Employees of the college also got acquainted with the teaching conditions and process of Nakhchivan State Technical College, specialties and other issues and set goals for future development prospects between the colleges.
A meeting was held at the Ministry of Education of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic as a part of the visit of Sumgayit State Technical College employees to Nakhchivan State Technical College.
The delegation led by the director of Sumgayit State Technical College, associate professor Matanat Pirguliyeva met with the Minister of Education of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic.
The minister spoke about the importance of the STEAM education method, its application in the autonomous republic , the achievements and gave detailed information about future goals.
