The defense of dissertations at the master's level has begun at Sumgayit State University
The defense of the master dissertations of the undergraduates was held on June 22 at Sumgayit State University. Rector professor Elkhan Huseynov, vice-rector for international relations Gafar Atayev ,associate professor Sabir Khalilov head of Doctorate and master's degree department, dean of the faculty, members of the Specialized Council participated in the defense of Aliya Gulamova's dissertation entitled "Study of genetic polymorphism in lentil samples". Aliya Gulamova gave information about her dissertation and answered all the questions comprehensively.
The members of the Council expressed their opinions about the defense work and noted the relevance of the dissertation work. After extensive discussions on the topic, a vote was held, the dissertation was evaluated according to the relevant criteria, and a decision was made to award Aliya Gulamova with a master's degree.
Expressing her satisfaction with the defense, the rector congratulated Aliya Gulamova, who completed her master's degree, and wished that young people with such high knowledge would work as qualified personnel in our university in the future.
Then there was the defense of the dissertation of Jeyhun Askarov, a graduate student of the faculty of History and geography entitled "Army Building in Azerbaijan (2003-2020 years)".
Vice-rector for Science and innovations professor Ramazan Mammadov, dean of the faculty of History and geography professor Adil Bakhshaliyev, associate professor Sabir Khalilov head of the department of Doctorate and master's degree, and members of the Specialized Council took part in the defense.
Masterʾs degree student Jeyhun Askarov gave information about his dissertation and answered the questions comprehensively.
Then the members of the defense council expressed their opinion about the master's degree student and his dissertation. They noted that the main goal of the master's education is to meet the demand for highly specialized specialists in the country, to prepare personnel for the scientific-pedagogical and scientific-research fields.
The successful defense of dissertations of master's degree students shows once again that educated and qualified personnel of the future are growing at Sumgayit State University.
Young people, in turn, thanked the university management for the conditions.
