Our students were awarded at the artistic creation competition-festival
The final concert of the artistic competition-festival dedicated to the 99th anniversary of the birth of the national leader Heydar Aliyev was held among the students of higher education institutions by the joint decision of the Ministry of Education and the Republican Committee of the Free Trade Union of Azerbaijan Education Workers.
The competition-festival was attended by self-activity creative collectives, associations and studios consisting of students studying in formal departments of higher education institutions operating in the republic, solo performers, amateur singers, dancers, art reciters, musicians, as well as orchestras and ensembles, dance groups, solo performers. A total of 28 higher education institutions across the country participated in the artistic creativity competition-festival.
As every year, this year the winning students of Sumgayit State University were awarded with diplomas, certificates of honor and gifts in accordance with the rules of the competition.
We should note that Gulnara Abasova, the artistic director of the "Sema" dance group was awarded the third place in the national dance nomination, Aysel Mirzali was awarded the second place in the artistic recitation nomination, and a group of students were awarded diplomas for their active participation.
