Dedicated to the 60th anniversary of SSU "What? Where? When?" intellectual knowledge competition was held
On November 4, in connection with the 60th anniversary of Sumgayit State University, the inter-faculty "What? Where? When?" intellectual knowledge competition was held.
The team of 7 faculties of the university and Sumgayit State Technical College under SSU participated in the competition.
Tayfun Hajili, the chairman of the Student Union Committee pointed out the importance of the competition noted that young people have high intelligence and knowledge. He said that holding the competition, revealing talented students and supporting them is the main component of the state"s youth policy. In this direction, Sumgayit State University makes valuable contributions to the development of the intellectual potential of our country.
The teams fought to win the championship consisting of 3 rounds. In the knowledge competition, the teams answered the questions related to literature, economics, the history of the Patriotic war and the liberation of our lands from the occupation of Armenia, the implementation of the great return plan to Karabakh, as well as the historical development path of Sumgayit State University. The answers of the teams were recorded and evaluated by the jury.
According to the results, the team of the faculty of History and geography the first place, the team of the faculty of Engineering the second place, and the team of the Sumgayit State Technical College were awarded the third place.
At the end, the winning team was presented a cup,honorary diploma and certificates were presented to the other participants.
