THE REPORT OF SSS-ELECTION CONFERENCE WAS HELD AT SSU
On December 20, the report-election conference of the Student Scientific Society was held at Sumgayit State University.
Vice-rector for Science and innovations professor Ramazan Mammadov opened the conference and spoke about the comprehensive development of the higher education institution, the activity of SSS, its importance and the role of students in this work. He said that scientific research has an important role in the country"s economy today. Thus, in addition to theoretical knowledge, experiments and scientific research work play an important role in the development of qualified personnel. Involvement of students in scientific-research work is carried out through Student Scientific Societies operating in higher schools.
The vice-rector also drew attention to the fact that wide opportunities have been created for students to increase their interest in science, achieve success in the field of science, and engage in scientific activities at Sumgayit State University. Prof. Ramazan Mammadov highly appreciating the activity of SSS at SSU specially noted that the success of our students in various events inside and outside the university is increasing day by day. He said that the members of the Student Scientific Society actively participate in prestigious national and international conferences and achieve successful results.
In this direction professor Ramazan Mammadov called on every young person to be more active in the events organized by the society and wished success to the participants.
Lala Bunyatova -the scientific head of SSS spoke about the success of the Student Scientific Society and stated that this success is the result of the hard work of the university management. The Student Scientific Society establishes mutual cooperation with students in order to increase their level of knowledge and motivation of teaching, and attracts young people to scientific research.
Shafa Isayeva - chairman of the Council of SSS gave a report on the annual activity of SSS. Giving information about the progress and structure of the conference she talked about the care of young people at the university, the success of students and the importance of the Student Scientific Society. She said that their activities are expanding every year. It is clear from the annual report that students are working diligently to organize their scientific and social activities, they represent our university well in conferences, festivals and events held in various educational institutions of our republic and foreign countries.
After the report, the conference concluded its work with the election of SSS Council members.
