A PRESENTATION ON "PSYCHOLOGICAL ASPECTS OF HUMAN-COMPUTER INTERACTIONS" WAS HELD AT SSU
On December 26, under the organization of the faculty of Engineering, the Human capital working group of the Commission on Business environment and international ratings a presentation on the topic "Psychological aspects of human-computer interaction" was held in connection with the implementation of the 2022 Action Plan "Increasing ICT skills of staff in enterprises and organizations and taking measures in the field of digital literacy".
Svetlana Ahmadova - deputy dean of the faculty of Engineering, senior lecturer of the department of Information technologies and programming  made a presentation on the psychological aspects of human-computer interactions and spoke about the importance of the topic. She said that information and communication technologies are one of the most important requirements of the era. Today, the services of new generation technologies are almost used in all fields. State structures, civil society institutions, economic and social fields, science , education, culture and other fields are under the influence of information and communication technologies. Nowadays, almost everyone is an internet user. The Internet provides easy access to information for everyone, and nowadays there is almost no information that is inaccessible. These are the realities of the new era. Humans interact with computers in many ways, and the interface between humans and computers is crucial to facilitate this. Human-computer interaction examines the ways in which humans use or do not use computing systems and infrastructures.
Then Svetlana Ahmadova gave detailed information about the role of information and communication technologies in education. Stating that important steps have been taken for  the development of education in the country, the deputy dean emphasized that the application of information and communication technologies in educational institutions has expanded. She said that recently new specialties related to computer science, information technology, and information security have been opened. A large number of young people are admitted to higher education institutions in these directions for acquiring these professions. There is a great need for these personnel in the labor market itself. Today, the most demanded qualifications in Azerbaijan are programmers, computer engineers, and information security specialists. Teaching at Sumgayit State University has become electronic  and many specialties have been created at the university.
