EMPLOYEES OF THE FACULTY OF ENGINEERING VISITED SUMGAYIT ALLEY OF MARTYRS
On December 26, a group of teachers and students, led by associate professor Ulduz Agayev - dean of the faculty of Engineering of Sumgayit State University and Nurlana Yusifova - a first-year student studying at the faculty visited Sumgait Alley of Martyrs on the occasion of the second anniversary of her brother Huseyn Yusifov"s death, who was martyred in the 44-day war for the liberation of the lands occupied by Armenian vandals in 2020.
During the visit, the memory of the children of the Motherland died for the independence and territorial integrity of Azerbaijan was commemorated with a minute"s silence, and carnations were laid on their graves.
Docent Ulduz Agayev noted that today we can proudly say that our brave and heroic sons proved once again that our nation is proud of with their bravery in the Patriotic war that started on September 27 and lasted for 44 days.
Ulduz Agayev also noted that even if the years pass, we will always remember our sons who gave us the joy of Victory every day of the 44-day Patriotic war. Because it is the duty of each of us as citizens to recognize and remember our martyrs who rose to the eternal peak in the struggle for the territorial integrity of the Motherland. Our people will always cherish the dear memory of our martyrs who wrote the history of "Glorious Victory" in their hearts.
Martyr Yusifov Huseyn Isag oglu was born on July 12, 2002 in Poylu village of Aghstafa district. He graduated from music school No. 2 named after Bulbul in Sumgayit city. On December 26, 2020, he was heroically martyred in the battles for Aghdara, Suguvushan. After his death, he was awarded "Suqovuşanın azad olunmasına görə ("For the liberation of Sugovushan"), “Cəsur döyüşçü”("Brave Warrior") and “Vətən uğrunda”("For the motherland") medals.
