On March 10, an intellectual competition dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the birth of the Great Leader Heydar Aliyev was held at the faculty of Engineering under the organization of the Student Trade Union Committee.

The event was opened by the dean of the faculty of Engineering, associate professor Ulduz Agayev spoke about the importance of intellectual knowledge competition. He noted that the purpose of the competition is to expand the intellectual level and outlook of young people, as well as to organize their free time effectively. He said that a young generation with a high intellectual level, a sense of patriotism, and national thinking has already been formed in Azerbaijan. We can say with joy that even today our state pays special attention and care to young people. The youth policy of our national leader Heydar Aliyev is successfully implemented by his worthy follower president Ilham Aliyev.

Then the intellectual game was started. Students tested their knowledge and skills in a 2-stage competition on 24 questions. The students who achieved the highest results during the game, which was covered by logical and worldview questions from various fields were awarded with diplomas.

According to the results, Absamed Khalilov-a student of the 652nd group the first place, Zaka Valiyev - a student of the 651st group the second place and Muhammedali Babazade - a student of the 657th group were awarded the third place.
