A group of students of the faculty of Chemistry and biology of SSU made an excursion to the Military Trophy Park
On April 15, a group of teachers and students of the faculty of Chemistry and biology of SSU, went an excursion to the Military Trophy Park. on the initiative of Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev jointly organized by the Committee of the Student Trade Union and the Student Youth Organization, on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the Great Leader Heydar Aliyev, a manifestation and visual proof of the victory of the Azerbaijani army in the 44-day Patriotic War.
The main purpose of organizing the excursion is to inform students about the military trophies captured from the enemy as a result of the victorious Azerbaijani army defeating the invading Armenia on the battlefield during the Patriotic war, which lasted for 44 days from September 27 to November 10, 2020.
During the excursion to the Military Trophy Park, teachers of the faculty, Tapdig Hajiyev and Ilham Mammadov, gave detailed information to the students about the heroism of our army in the Patriotic war, and the losses of the enemy"s manpower and military force. They also brought to the attention of the students the facts about war crimes, areas far from the war zone being hit by rockets, and the killing and wounding of civilians.
As part of the excursion, the students saw the tanks, combat vehicles, artillery installations, anti-aircraft missile systems, small arms, as well as the remains of the "Iskander-M" missile that was fired into the territory of Azerbaijan.
The students obtained full information about the great historical Victory won by our army in the Patriotic war. They thanked the head of the country, our martyrs, soldiers and officers for making these victory days happen.
