The event within the framework of “The European week company related to the examination of HIV” held in our University

On November 26, the educational event within the framework of “Europe HIV testing week” related to “December 1 International struggle day” was held in Sumgait State University. Dr Nizami Namazov, the vice-rector on Humanitarian Issues, stated that the necessary condition is created for students to join for healthy future and live in healthy life. The main goal for holding such events is to explain the students this painful problem, HIV and AIDS infection and to inform the students about the methods of protection and prevention from this virus and the methods of treatment of this virus.
Later the testing examination of volunteer students was held by Mrs Dilshad Mahmudova, the member of Azerbaijan Republic AIDS Struggle Centre, doctor of Epidemiological Centre and by Mrs Shabnam Malakzade, the head of the laboratory sector in Sumgait Regional AIDS Struggle Centre. At the end of the meeting the questions about AIDS and the rights of the people infected with this virus were discussed.
