THERE WAS AN INFO SESSION ON THE "#CODEFORFUTURE" PROJECT AT SSU
On September 26, the #codeforfuture project organized by the Ministry of Science and Education, the "Code Academy", the Innovation and Digital Development Agency in cooperation with SSU, and the presentation of diplomas and certificates to Code Academy students who successfully completed the fall sessions, was held on September 26.
Rector of the university Rufat Azizov first greeted the event participants and congratulated them on the successful anti-terrorist operation of our Armed Forces in Karabakh. Expressing his  confidence  Rufat Azizov  the "#codeforfuture" project will be important for university students, reminded that the achieved successes are a reliable basis for our future life: The social programs defined by President Ilham Aliyev specifically target very important issues for our economy. We must not forget that the intensity of innovative approaches reflects the development potential of society."
Rector spoke  about the role that new projects will play in the labor market of the future, called the students  innovative  approach to issues , and thanked the organizations that supported the project presented by "Code Academy".
Ulvi Aslanov, founder and director of "Code Academy" educational institution, expressed his gratitude to rector Rufat Azizov for his sincere and interesting speech. The  founder noted that students' acquisition of modern programming languages, system and network administrators, as well as other IT specialists' knowledge is not a result, but a means: "The value of each project is what the participating students get".
The head of the  Technest Scholarship Program, Fatima Alakbarova, stated that special importance is attached to the comprehensive development, healthy and educated formation of young people in our country: "We are already in such a situation that we often observe that there is work and there are no workers. This means that there is a shortage of creative workforce that meets daily requirements in the labor market. She also noted that the students got a chance to get the relevant certificates of the #codeforfuture project along with a university diploma in participating in a similar project, and wished them success in this direction.
At the end of the event moderated by Code Academy education manager Shahriyar Mammadli, international certificates and diplomas were presented to SSU students who graduated from the #CodeForFuture project.
