On September 29-30, ADA University under the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan held a public meeting in connection with the improvement of international rating indicators related to scientific publications under the "Roadmap for 2023" and taking necessary measures to raise the reputation of local scientific journals and to create new ones .A training was held for representatives of higher education institutions and scientific-research institutes, as well as magazine editors, on the topic of "The role of scientometrics in the development of science: preparation of authoritative scientific journals". SSU was represented by the head of the Scientific department associate professor Samir Orujov, during the two-day training.

At the event, on the topics of "Ethical rules in science and protection of scientist's copyright", "The role of scientometrics in the development of science and the requirements of international scientific bases", "Formation and perspectives of the information technology system of journals in science" and "Conceptual structuring and preparation methodology of scientific research and articles" speeches and presentations were made, and discussions were held between the representatives of the university and the official magazine presenters. At the end of the training, the trainees were awarded with certificates for their successful participation.
