On October 25, the presentation of the development program named after Academician Azad Mirzajanzade, implemented by the "Regional Development" Public Union (RDPU), was held at Sumgayit State University.

At the event, the vice-rector for Social affairs and public relations of the university, associate professor Elmar Khalilov, delivered the greetings of the rector Rufat Azizov to the participants and talked about the wide opportunities created for the development of Azerbaijani youth in our country. He said that supporting the development of young people is one of the main directions of the state youth policy. Today, various programs are implemented in order to reveal and encourage the knowledge and skills of young people. Expressing hope that the development program named after Academician Azad Mirzajanzade will open a new opportunities in the lives of young people, the vice-rector  invited SSU students to join the program. He pointed out that SSU students are active by participating in many projects and programs.

Tabriz Rzayev, the representative of RDPU, informed about the activity and purpose of the institution he represents, as well as informative sessions currently held within the framework of the development program named after Academician Azad Mirzajanzade.

Then the representative of the project executive team Leyla Seyidzadeh made a  presentation about the program intended for students and young teachers. She noted that the goal is to identify young people who are capable of evaluating new opportunities, finding creative solutions to current problems,  have flexible, innovative approaches, and to support their development by covering the capital and regions.

Pointing out the principles on which the projects presented to the program will be selected, Leyla Seyidzadeh touched on the necessary information about the rules and stages of reviewing applications, determining the winning projects and opportunities. She said that every citizen of Azerbaijan aged 18-35 who wants to join the program can register through link .
