PROMINENT STATESMAN HASAN HASANOV VISITED SSU
Prominent statesman, scientist Hasan Hasanov visited Sumgait State University on January 29.
Rector of SSU, associate professor Rufat Azizov, greeted the distinguished guest and expressed his pleasure to see him in the higher education institution he heads.
Rufat Azizov gave extensive information to Hasan Hasanov about the goals of the university, which has great research potential, and the steps taken on the way to it.
At the meeting, Hasan Hasanov discussed the issues of modern Azerbaijani history, the methodology of teaching Azerbaijani history, the state of teaching Azerbaijani history in education, and new approaches to teaching history.
An agreement has been reached that the eminent scientist will regularly give master classes to the students of SSU on the history of Azerbaijan.
At the end of the meeting, Hasan Hasanov visited the Heydar Aliyev Center of SSU. He got acquainted with the conditions created here and inspected the exhibits reflecting the activities of the National Leader.
