On March 6, rector of Sumgayit State University, associate professor Rufat Azizov, met with female employees who are members of the families of martyrs on the eve of International Women"s Day. The dear memory of all our martyrs who died for the territorial integrity of our country and the freedom of Karabakh was commemorated at the meeting.

Rufat Azizov mentioned the traditional meetings and noted that the staff and student organizations of Sumgayit State University always cherish the dear memory of our martyrs, visit their families from time to time and are interested in their material and moral problems.

Speaking at the meeting about the greatness of the martyrdom floor, the bravery shown by our heroes and the role of women, especially mothers, in the historical victory achieved in the 44-day Patriotic War, the rector congratulated the female employees who are members of the families of the martyrs on the occasion of the holiday, wished them long life and good health. He said that historically Azerbaijani women have always shown bravery and tenacity and rendered unparalleled services in preserving our cultural values since centuries. It was the patriotic sons raised by our heroic mothers who gave us the historical victory under the leadership of the President, the victorious Commander-in-Chief Mr. Ilham Aliyev.

The employees speaking at the meeting expressed their gratitude to the university management, President Mr. Ilham Aliyev and First vice-president Mehriban Aliyeva for the attention and care shown.
