A NEW CHAIRMAN WAS ELECTED TO THE TRADE UNION COMMITTEE OF SSU
On March 6, a report-election meeting of the Trade Union Committee of Sumgait State University was held with the participation of Khudaverdi Aliyev, chairman of the Sumgait City Committee of the Free Trade Union of Education Workers.
Speaking at the meeting, Sumgayit State University vice-rector for Social affairs and public relations associate professor Elmar Khalilov talked about the work done by the Trade Union Committee. The chairman of SSU TUC, associate professor Nemat Ibayev, spoke about his activity during the years of his chairmanship of the organization and generally evaluated the activity of the committee satisfactorily.
Associate professor Nemet Ibayev, chairman of SSU TUC, made a report on the activity of the committee during the past period. In the report, the implementation status of the organization's income and expenditure estimates, including the effective organization of leisure time of the university staff, ensuring their participation in cultural and mass events of various nature, and the strengthening of their recreation and social protection, were brought into consideration.
After hearing the report, it was voted and considered satisfactory.
The Chairman of the Sumgayit City Committee of the Free Trade Union of Education Workers, Khudaverdi Aliyev, informed about the activities of the institution he represents and satisfactorily evaluated the work done by the Trade Union Committee of SSU.
The meeting continued with the election of the chairman. Docent Nemet Ibayev was elected the new chairman of the Trade Union Committee by a large majority of committee members.
Nemet Ibayev expressed his gratitude for the trust shown to him and said that he will work hard to cope with his duties.
