On March 18, Rza Agaverdiyev, Operations and Technical Service Manager of GLENSOL (Nobel Energy) Company, within the framework of the Professional Speakers Series project organized by the Career and Alumni Center, in accordance with the Action Plan for the declaration of 2024 as the ‘Year of Solidarity for the Green World’ at Sumgait State University meeting with students was organized.

Nasiba Amirbeyova, director of the Center for Career and Alumni Affairs, spoke about the importance of the seminar held to improve students' understanding of industrial experience. She stated that industrial-university cooperation, including the organization of such events between specialists and students, is useful for the development of students in the direction of engineering, especially from the point of view of the future development of students studying oil and gas specialties as professional specialists. At the meeting, discussions were held on achieving the development of research and innovation within the framework of cooperation in the fields of education and industry.

Guest speaker Rza Agaverdiyev gave information about the activity, strategy and business principle of the company he represents. He made a broad presentation on ‘The role of equipment and modern technologies used in the oil and gas industry in production’, as well as ‘Modern requirements for specialized personnel in the oil and gas industry’, and at the end, the students' questions were answered in detail.
