On April 16, the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation, Kazan State Energy University (KSEU), I.S. Turgenev Oryol State University (OSU), Bratsk State University (BSU), Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Tajikistan, Academician M.S. Khujand Polytechnic Institute of the Technical University of Tajikistan, Tajikistan Institute of Mining and Metallurgy (TIM and M), Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan and Sumgayit State University (SSU) jointly organized on the topic "Electrical networks: reliability, safety, energy saving and economic aspects" a joint scientific-practical conference was held.

It should be noted that rector's advisor professor Tamella Ahmadova, assoc. prof. Turgay Huseynov, assoc. prof. Nadir Hajibalayev and collaborators of the Engineering faculty of SSU participated in the conference in online format.

Irina Akhmetova, vice-rector for scientific affairs, development and innovation of KSPEU, opened the conference with an opening speech, after welcoming all the participants, she gave the floor to the representatives of other universities.

After the greeting, the plenary session started its work. Turgay Huseynov, associate professor of SSU, gave the first speech on the topic "Tubular resonators of high quality for vibration-frequency sensors of density". Then the representatives of other universities also presented their views on the topic.

After the presentations, the conference continued its work in sections.
