TRAINING ON "PHILOSOPHY OF MODERN HIGHER EDUCATION - PRAGMATIC MODELS" WAS HELD AT SSU
On April 18, under the organization of the Trade Union Committee of Sumgayit State University, a training was held on "Philosophy of modern higher education - pragmatic models" in order to inculcate the essence, philosophy and pragmatic methods of progressive higher education in the modern world.
The vice-rector on Social affairs and public relations of the university Elmar Khalilov opened the training with an introductory speech, greeted the guest and participants, spoke about the rich scientific and philosophical views of Mail Yagub, and expressed his confidence that the training will be useful for the participants.
Then, Dr.Mail Yagub spoke about the essence, importance, relevance of philosophy as a science,and emphasized philosophical views of education in modern philosophy. He noted that it is of particular importance to improve the teaching of philosophy education and to direct the modern society to national self-awareness and self-affirmation by spreading it widely. The goal forms an approach to the problem, reveals the essence, directions are specified and implemented according to the goal. The scientist also spoke about the characteristic features of philosophical thought, the essence of philosophical vision, and the problems of modern philosophy.
