On February 5, a training on the topic "Increasing the role of empathy in education" was held at the Sustainable Development Center at Sumgayit State University (SSU) organized by the Trade Union Committee (TUC) and the Human Capital Management Center. First, Vice-Rector for Social Affairs and Public Relations, Associate Professor Elmar Khalilov spoke about the importance of the training and introduced the trainer Farida Farajova. The training, conducted by professional trainer Farida Farajova, was organized to emphasize the importance of empathy in the educational process and to develop teachers' communication skills based on effective and mutual understanding with students. During the training, participants gained practical knowledge on the impact of empathy on the quality of education, understanding the psychological needs of students, and creating a more effective learning environment. The training was further enriched with interactive discussions, group exercises, and analysis of real learning situations.
