SSA"s seminar was dedicated to the fields of Sociology and Political Science. The head of the department, senior lecturer Ms Sevvare Rzaguliyeva made an opening speech and stated that SSC has more than 656 members. Unceasingly, seminars are held among faculties. Lectures delivered are published in "Seminars Collection." Distinguished students during these seminars take part at International Conferences abroad. Scientific articles of 22 students of our university have made it to International Youth Forum on Technical and Math sciences organized by Voronej State Forest Technical University. 3 students of us participated at this conference and was awarded with certificates due to their achievements. Recently, Saint Petersburg"s National Research University of Academy of National Sciences of Russia has held an international conference on Optoelectronics, Photonics, and Nanostructure wherein our active students" lectures during seminars have grabbed attention very well and their participation have been recommended by the faculty. I wish all of you to be as active as these students. Besides, note that 19 students from the faculty of Sociology and 11 students from Political Science gave presentations on different topics. The head of the board of SSA, Nijat Ismayilov stressed the importance and advances of scientific works for students during his speech. Nijat Ismayilov presented a topic on "Democratization in Independent Azerbaijan", Gülar Mammadova on "The role of Heydar Aliyev in Foreign Policy of Azerbaijan", Rashad Aghayev on "Social aspects of Management in Modern Era", Kochari Alizada on "Turkey-Syria problems", and Shabnam Bakirova on "Social work with the young.
