On June 30, the 2005 graduates of the Faculty of Natural Sciences of Sumgayit State University (SSU) held a meeting after 20 years. This significant day coincided with the “Graduation Day” at SSU, adding special moral value to the event. At the meeting, where emotional moments were experienced, the university’s Vice-Rector for Social Affairs and Public Relations, Associate Professor Elmar Khalilov conveyed his sincere greetings to the graduates. He emphasized the role of such meetings in strengthening university-graduate relations and noted that such relations contribute to both the professional development of graduates and the sustainable development of the university. Then, Ruhangiz Amirova, Acting Director of the Career and Alumni Center, made a speech and provided information about the projects implemented within the framework of the Alumni Association, the established relationships, and future plans.

Then, a promotional video of the university was shown. Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Natural Sciences, Associate Professor Sabir Alakbarov and other teachers also spoke about the scientific, educational and social activities of the faculty in recent years and highlighted the successes achieved. At the same time, they evaluated the achievements of the faculty graduates as the success of the university. Throughout the event, the graduates looked back on their student years and shared their unforgettable memories. They recalled the most memorable moments of their student years and spoke about the important place these years had in their lives. At the same time, they expressed their gratitude to the university by sharing their career successes in various fields. At the end of the event, the participants took a commemorative photo together.
