On September 9, 2025, the head office of the Azerbaijan Professional Financial Managers Association (APFM) held a presentation of diplomas to specialists who successfully completed international trainings in the field of finance, accounting and human resources management and showed high results in the final exams. The event was organized in cooperation with the London Institute of Financial Managers (ICFM) and the Institute of Accountants (ICB). Opening the presentation ceremony, the Chairperson of the APFM Board, Nuriyya Novruzova, greeted the participants and congratulated the specialists who achieved successful results. Then, international diplomas were presented to the participants who successfully completed the trainings. Associate Professor Logman Abdullayev and Doctor of Philosophy, Senior Lecturer Roya Gurbanova, successfully completed the training on the “International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)” module, showed high results in the exam and were awarded international diplomas of the London Institute of Financial Managers (ICFM). This success is not only an indicator of the importance Sumgayit State University attaches to the professional development of its teaching staff, but will also make a significant contribution to the implementation of international standards in the university's educational process.
