On September 11, large-scale tidying, landscaping and cleaning works were carried out at Sumgayit State University (SSU) as part of preparations for the 2025/2026 academic year. The event, organized by the Trade Union Committee of the university, was carried out with the participation of the university's staff and the technical support of the Sumgayit City Executive Power. The main goal of the work carried out in all educational buildings of the university was to improve the aesthetic appearance of the campus, improve the environment, and provide effective educational and recreational conditions for students. In this context, tree trunks were softened, the territory was inspected, and other landscaping and cleaning measures were carried out. Employees of all faculties of the university actively participated in the preparatory work. SSU Acting Rector, Corresponding Member of ANAS, Professor Aminagha Sadigov toured the educational buildings and closely examined the progress of preparations for the new academic year. He highly appreciated the initiatives of the employees and noted that the conditions created in the auditoriums and on the campus have a positive impact on the educational process and effective spending of free time by students. Aminagha Sadigov said that the significant increase in the number of students admitted to SSU this year has not only created great enthusiasm among the university's teaching staff, but also caused joy among the Sumgayit city community. Professor Aminagha Sadigov expressed his gratitude to the leadership of the Sumgayit City Executive Power for their support in organizing the event. At the end of the event, a coffee break was organized for employees who participated in the improvement and cleaning work.
