Code Academy held another info session
On September 29, an informative meeting was organized at Sumgayit State University, organized by the Department of International Cooperation and Strategic Projects, to mark the start of the new academic year of Code Academy.
The event was opened by Vice-Rector for Science and Innovation, Associate Professor Elshad Abdullayev, who congratulated the students selected for Code Academy. He spoke about the importance of the project implemented by the Ministry of Science and Education in collaboration with Code Academy, emphasizing that students are provided with the opportunity to join the classes free of charge. Associate Professor Elshad Abdullayev advised students to continuously improve their knowledge and successfully complete the course with the highest results. Then, Shahriyar Mammadli, education manager of the Code For Future project, spoke and provided information about the academy's activities, educational programs, and opportunities created for students. He noted that the academy teaches students knowledge and skills that are relevant to the demands of the real labor market, which turns them into competitive and professional IT specialists in the future. He also mentioned the opportunity for free education in the specialties of "Artificial Intelligence-assisted Programming" and "Fundamentals of Cybersecurity". He emphasized the importance of students being more responsible in class and continuously developing their knowledge and skills. At the end of the event, a mutual exchange of views took place, and the questions asked by the students were answered by Shahriyar Mammadli.
