From October 9 to 11, the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering of Sumgayit State University (SSU), Associate Professor Ulduz Aghayev, Head of the Department of Automation and Mechanics, Professor Javanshir Mammadov, and Head of the Department of Information Technologies, Associate Professor Natig Talibov participated in the "Automation and Informatics 2025" international conference organized at the Varna Technical University in Bulgaria. During the conference, our employees delivered scientific presentations in the "Robotics and Control Systems I" (A13) session. Professor Javanshir Mammadov made presentations on "Diagnostics of Industrial Robot Applied in Flexible Manufacturing System", and Associate Professor Natig Talibov made presentations on "Modeling of the Innovation Construction Mobile Industrial Robot Applied in Technology Park". Javanshir Mammadov also actively participated in the management of the session as the chairman of the A13 session. At the same time, our employees got acquainted with the educational process, technical base, and laboratories of the departments of Automation and Control, Mechatronics and Robotics, and Electrical Engineering and Microelectronics of Varna Technical University. As part of the event, SSU representatives were officially received by the leadership of Varna Technical University. The two universities held fruitful discussions on the implementation status of the existing cooperation agreement and future cooperation plans. It was decided to strengthen cooperation in the fields of education, research and innovation and identify new perspectives for the implementation of mutually beneficial projects.
