On October 17, a training info session on "Instructional design, modern methods and effective communication: Teaching skills in higher education" was held for academic staff at Sumgayit State University, organized by the Teaching Methodological Center. A leading specialist and trainer at the Teaching Methodological Center, Aynura Bagirova delivered a comprehensive presentation to teachers on how to plan the teaching process effectively, creatively, and result-oriented based on modern requirements. She demonstrated the application of modern instructional design principles by working with participants on practical tasks and interactive activities. The info-session was held in an atmosphere of active participation, mutual exchange of ideas, and cooperation among teachers. During the training, participants gained new knowledge and skills in effective communication, creating a motivating learning environment, and implementing student-centered learning strategies. The event concluded with a speech by the Director of the Educational Methodological Center, Doctor of Philosophy in Political Science Elnara Mammadova.
