On October 16–20, 2025, head of the Department of Mathematical Analysis and Differential Equations of Sumgayit State University (SSU), Associate Professor Khayala Seyfullayeva was on a mission to the Republic of Kazakhstan and participated in a number of important events. As part of the visit, she participated in the XXVII General Assembly of the Association of Universities and Research Centers of the Caspian Littoral States on the topic “Caspian Ecosystem: Integration of Science and Education”, and also spoke at the event and scientific conference dedicated to the 85th anniversary of Atyrau University named after Kh. Dosmukhamedov. At the plenary session of the conference, Associate Professor Khayala Seyfullayeva made a report, exchanged views with scientists from Kazakhstan, Russia, Poland, France, Iran and Turkmenistan, and established fruitful relations for future international cooperation. During the visit, she got acquainted with the room reflecting the history and culture of the Azerbaijani people at Atyrau University. Later, scientific seminars were organized in two languages - in English - “Optimal control problems for the equation of oscillations of three-layer plates” and in Russian - “Modern engineering training technology in the context of the integration of education, science and production” at the department of “Mathematics and Methods of Teaching Mathematics” of Khayala Seyfullayeva. Also, future directions of cooperation with the faculty of the department, such as the publication of joint articles, the organization of online scientific seminars and the preparation of joint lessons, were discussed. She also attended several lessons and got acquainted with the teaching process.
It should be noted that this five-day visit was productive and useful in terms of expanding scientific cooperation, exchanging international experience and planning new joint projects.
