On October 6, a meeting was held within the framework of cooperation between Sumgayit State University and the "Iyde Parfum" company.
Speaking at the event, the university's Vice-Rector for Social Affairs and Public Relations, Associate Professor Elmar Khalilov said that close cooperation between higher education institutions and the modern business world is of great importance for the development of society in general, the formation of a competitive economy, and the creation of high-quality human resources. In this regard, Sumgayit State University attaches special importance to strategic cooperation with the private sector. Such collaborations create the basis for building mutually beneficial relationships, as well as implementing innovative initiatives. In his speech, he emphasized that "Iyde Parfum" occupies a unique place among the numerous chains operating in the perfume sector in our country, expanding its scope of activity and strengthening its position. Then, Marketing Director of “Iyde Parfum” company, Giyas Mardanov made a speech and provided information about the company's activities. He said that “Iyde Parfum” has been operating in the Azerbaijani market since 2017 and has gained a special place in the sale of perfumes during this period. Currently, the company has 17 branches. In addition, the company also has branches in foreign countries, representing and promoting the Azerbaijani brand on a global scale through private collections such as “Karabakh”, “Khamsa” and “Yeddi Gozel”. At the meeting, a group of university employees were presented with fragrances from "Iyde Parfum". After the meeting, Giyas Mardanov and his delegation met with the acting rector of the university, corresponding member of ANAS, professor Aminaga Sadigov. After discussions on existing areas of cooperation, a memorandum was signed between the parties.
